Flind
No one is really sure where flind came from. There have been rumors that they are the result of a failed magical experiment with humans and dogs. They stand about the same height as humans, with the head and face of a canine.
Flind are somewhat stronger than humans, but seem to be a little less healthy, which was a flaw of the experiment that supposedly created them. They are a little smarter than the average human, but much more clumsy due to the odd combination of human and canine qualities. Flind prefer to use blunt weapons, and seem to do so with a better skill than that of edged weapons.
Because of all the fur on their bodies, they seem to take a little more damage from fire based attacks, and a little less damage from cold based attacks. Also, flind are unable to wear helmets because of their snouts, and boots because of their paws.
Due to their partial, animalistic nature, flind have good night sight in all conditions.
