Dracoliches,

Deling combat damage will now slightly replenish your
phylactery. The end result is a slight bump to your combat
prowess, as certain combat-related skills are based upon the
current charge level within the phylactery. Thus, in theory,
you will do better in combat if your phylactery charge stays
higher.
