It was not intended that any class get that amount of boost to
their main attack skill (no other class gets two *v.large* boosts
to a main attack skill from kyldiss eq).
Therefore, venom boost increased, spike boost removed. It's also
fairly huge AC too, so i expect any whining to go to /dev/null
