Title : follow change again
There was an oversight w/ the change I had made which caused
players with followers (charmies, enlistees, elementals, familiars,
golems, kenzokus, etc) to not tank. I wrote it so that if they
were attacked, the owner would jump in front and take the damage.
There were a number of problems with this approach, but the
easiest one to undersatnd is if the follower had poison on it
and the owner and follower were out of the room, the poison
damage would hit and the owner would 'jump in front' to take
the damage.
My goal with this change was to stop tanking, particularly in
mass spam in ars where some of the subclasses were able to
sit there and tank with their followers.
I've now changed it so that a follower _CAN_ be attacked by
someone and that person really will hit the follower, but after
a round or two (a heart beat) the attacker will switch to attacking
the owner. This might mean that you can still bounce someone
with a golem, having the golem tank, but it should not mean
that you can sit there for 10 rounds and have the golem tank.
I've tested this a bunch, but there were lots of familiar files
to change, so please report bugs as you find them.
I think it's sort of a compromise between the two systems. Now
you can go back to aggro areas and have your followers take
damage for you for a round or two while you try and get explore
as well.
