Greetings,

OK, in the name of fairness (to mages), role playing, peace and good will;
summon scrolls have been changed. Here are the details.

- Reading a summon scroll now invokes the actual summon spell. They can
not be modded, and the recall command doesn't work. However, they are
cast at a high level of the spell. They have the same benefits and
limitations of the summon spell itself.

- The syntax for summoning has changed slightly. It is now:
'read summon name'

- The cost for the spell to shop owners has been greatly reduced- by more
than half It is up to them to modify the cost in their shops and pass
the savings on to you.

- This change supercedes all changes to summon scrolls posted on this
change board. That's not to say modifications to the scrolls' abilities
won't be forthcoming.

- This change does NOT apply to WARs.

- This is obviously a new change, and we (me) are looking for feedback,
whether it's positive, negative or just suggestions. You can mail me or
post on the suggestion or flame board (whichever you think is
appropriate). However, if you really want to be taken seriously, try to
stay serious and constructive with your feedback.
