deep sigh, he tells his tale:

"Long ago, the city of Rymalind was a happy place where people came
to relax, party and rejoice."

"Until the earth itself began to rot and terrifying creatures
began to arise from the festering wound that seemed to be entrenched in
the in the very essence of reality."

"I've heard people say that some sort of supernatural being ventured to the realm,
and that a tremendous struggle ensued, lasting for weeks on end. In
the end, whatever evil existed was neutralized, if not defeated."

"The temple was founded on the site of this battle, to help prevent further
outbreak of this evil."

The bard looks deep into your eyes.

"The last time I traveled to this temple, I saw terrifying evidence of
the ancient evil re-awakening. If no one takes action, it is likely that
the forces of evil will arise again and spread across the realm."

"A great hero would be able to rid the realm of this evil,
but accomplishing such a task will require great thought and perception.
Vast amounts of knowledge lie hidden in the temple, and you should
not discount the possible aid of the monks that still inhabit the temple."

"Recently I met a traveler that claimed to have made extensive notes of
the evil, but that the notebook was lost just after hiding a crucial page
of information. Possibly that information may be of help, should you be
capable of locating it."

"Good luck."
