Theft in Barovia
Note: You must complete the Rogue newbie quest "Rogues are good at hiding things" as a prerequisite to this quest.

Note: This quest should be done at night, otherwise you get caught and expelled from Barovia, and follower is nerfed.

Note: You require a crowbar

Must be done at night. To start the quest, go to Shilanda 1w of the thief guild ("help thief guild" for directions) and ask her about the quest. I don't know if this step is required or if you can just go directly to Barovia.

Note that you have to do the houses in order. If you go right to statue #3, it will turn out to be fake.

STATUE #1

1. Go to main street in Barovia (the one leading down to Barovia Forest)

2. Go s.

3. Smash the streetlamp and fight whatever comes.

4. Wait for the door to open then "sneak into house". Wait for all the dialog to finish and you'll climb out of the chest.

5. Take the cushion from the chest, put it in front of the bookcase.

6. Take the silhouette from the bookcase (it's fake), and exit the house.

7. Break statue (the real one doesn't break).

STATUE #2

1. Go to main street in Barovia (the one leading down to Barovia Forest)

2. Go 3s.

3. Search bush to find the key.

4. Smash the streetlamp and fight whatever comes.

5. Unlock door with key.

6. Open cupboard. You'll have to "enter cupboard" and "close cupboard" every 3 actions, as the guards will periodically come into the house.

7. Unroll rug. Once you get to the 'guards approaching' message (instead of the one about them patrolling) climb into the cupboard, close the cupboard, and wait until you see a message about the door being closed and the guards leaving. Then open the cupboard, exit it, and continue to "unroll rug". Repeat this until

it's completely unrolled, then 'pry floorboard' to find statue #2.

8. Open main door, and exit house. Then break statue.

STATUE #3

1. Go to main street in Barovia (the one leading down to Barovia Forest)

2. Go 4s.

3. Smash the streetlamp and fight whatever comes.

4. Climb tree.

5. Move bottle once.

6. Pry tile to get the statue, then leave the house.

7. Break statue... it won't break!

8. Go back to Shilanda near the Thieves' Guild and give her the statue.
